Lucy started school this year on September 7th and her recollection of that day is entirely different from mine. She thought it was great fun whereas I cried most of the day and tried not to have a complete mental breakdown. Two weeks later I am not much better. The whole thing just feels so wrong!! I wish she could stay home with me forever! Unlike me Lucy is enjoying every minute of this. On the first day she said that she could see Jehovah smiling at her and her friends through the sun when they didn't salute the flag. I am so glad she is enjoying school so much and I'm sure that I will adjust eventually:-(
